Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
- Are you registered and insured? - Yes, we first started in August 2018 with a full inspection by the local council and received a 5* Hygiene Rating. Myself and my husband also hold a Level 2 Food hygiene & Safety certificate and public liability insurance. Link at the bottom of the page for official rating
- How do I place an order? - The quickest way to place an order is through our Facebook or Instagram pages, or using our "Contact Us" button at the top of the page. Please include; collection date, portion size and any ideas you have in mind (even better if you have some pictures)
- Do you require a deposit? - Yes, to secure your order, a non refundable booking fee will be taken to secure your order and price. This is usally around 40% of your total order and can be done through Paypal or Bank Transfer. The remaining balance can be made on collection day, either online again or cash on collection.
- Where are you based? - I am based in Nuneaton/ Stockingford
- Do you make allergy-free cakes? - No, unfortunately at this moment in time I am not catering for gluten, egg, or dairy free products.
- Do you deliver? - All bespoke orders are available for collection at my premises in Stockingford. Only on occasions such as Easter/Christmas or treat boxes will be available for delivery. This will be advertised on my social media if delivery is available.
- How long will my order last? - As with all freshly baked products, the sooner they are eaten, the better they will be. But as I offer a range of products, please message to ask what the shelf life will be. If you can, I recommend collecting your order as close to the date as possible.
- I would like to discuss my order over the phone, do you have a number I can call? - As I run the business alone, I do not have the time to dedicate to being able to discuss orders over the phone. I do find it helps to have all the information in writing to avoid miscommunication.
